Juan Carlos Quintana Serur.

Juan Carlos Quintana is admitted to practice law in Mexico. He received his J.D. degree (Licenciado en Derecho), summa cum laude, from Universidad Anahuac School of Law at Mexico City in 1986. He attended specialization courses in the U.S. legal system at Boston University School of Law and in Georgetown University School of Law. Mr. Quintana obtained his Master of Law in Comparative Jurisprudence degree from the New York University School of Law in 1990.

Mr. Quintana is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C.), founder member of the Universidad Anahuac Law Review and member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Quintana has acted as speaker in several forums in Mexico and the United States of America in conferences regarding the legal and regulatory framework of the foreign investment in Mexico. Founding member of Borda y Quintana, S.C., Juan Carlos Quintana previously practiced as an associate and afterwards as a partner in the law firm of Baker & McKenzie, S.C., at Mexico City.

Mr. Quintana specializes in corporate reorganizations, foreign investment, real estate, corporate finance, banking, insurance, sanitary law and corporate matters in general. He has assisted foreign and national investors in the negotiation, implementation and execution of major joint-venture projects that have resulted in the incorporation of several companies currently doing business in Mexico in different areas.
