Julián Treviño Meixueiro.

Julian Treviño received his law degree with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, was a Fulbright Scholar and obtained a Master of Laws degree in Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University. He is admitted to the practice of law throughout Mexico and in the State of New York.

His practice focuses in the area of international commercial arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Treviño has participated as co-arbitrator, chairman of the arbitral tribunal or as counsel in various arbitration proceedings under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association, the Commercial Arbitration and Mediation Center for the Americas and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, among others.

Mr. Treviño also specializes in corporate law, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and project finance. He worked as a foreign associate in the commercial arbitration practice area at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

By appointment of the Mexican Ministry of Economy, Mr. Treviño is a member of the Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes established under NAFTA Article 2022. He is also a member of the Mexican Bar Association, where he currently co-chairs the Commercial Law Committee; he is also a member of the International Chamber of Commerce and the London Court of International Arbitration.
Mr. Trevino is fluent in both Spanish and English.
